Chalkdust, “a magazine for the mathematically curious”, runs an annual book of the year prize and the 2025 shortlist includes a substantial number of contributions from BSHM members! Thomas Brigg’s “The Mathematician’s Library”, Snezana Lawrence’s “A Little History of Mathematics” and Robin Wilson’s “Sum Stories: Equations and Their Origins” are all in the running. Voting is open until Wednesday March 18th – BSHM members are encouraged to read more about the competition and cast their votes!
